The 400 series (58401-58500)

It took 15 years to Tamiya to release their 100 first models: the following hundred marks were reached every 5 years. Since 2008, despite the whole world and RC economies suffering a long-lasting deep crisis, Tamiya even accelerated the release rate since the 584xx series was covered in only 4 years. But beyond this profusion:
 the range of models and chassis is very wide: crawler, trial, drift, m-chassis, Formula 1, touring, rallye, buggy, a fan can get in almost every RC category, either for leisure or for racing.
 vintage fans were not forgotten with the unexpected re-releases of mythical models from the 80's like the Sand Scorcher or the Avante.

Tamiya never got involved in so many RC markets at the same time in all their history. Nevertheless, you can also notice that Tamiya carefully stay away from "fashion" categories, the steroid Monster Trucks in the mid 2000s and the Short-Course in the 2010s. The RC market got renewed to some extend by these ephemeral waves both initied by Traxxas, but Tamiya remained focused on every other stable market segment that better suits their know-how and customer base.
